Ascent

The 4th August, we climbed up to Camp III with the intention of reaching the summit on the following day. But the day broke very windy and it snowed. We moved down to basecamp on K2 - we got to know that we had no permit for this mount when we were en route on the Gasherbrum II- and we were talking with members of a Spanish expedition.

The 10th we climbed up again to Camp III. Having rested and eaten something, by 11.00 pm we went on towards the summit. At daybreak we were nearby to the hill (7900m), but wind appeared and the temperature was very low. We came back to camp III and we had to make up our minds between moving down to the basecamp or putting on waiting. We chose the last one.

The 12th August appeared without clouds. At 6.00 am we made our way up to the hill. By 12.45pm we conquered the summit. It was the first time we enjoyed such a good weather on a summit. We relaxed by contemplating an endless horizon, which involves the territories of Tibet, Cashmere and the winding glaciers originating in Concorde. We thought of going to the Nanga Parbat, but days were running out.

We got pleasure having reached 5 summits. A part of our souls and a voice in favor of peace and environment remained there, and the wind will take them everywhere with.
