Minutes before summitting Mt Everest, Jesús took a picture of the IMAX FILM expedition, which had just reached the summit.

     This expedition was developed as preamble of the project "Galicia Desafío 8000", in order to try to make institutions and potential sponsors aware of the defiance interest.

     The ascent came out very complicated due to permanent unsuitable weather conditions, which turned the year 1996 into one of the most tragic years for the world alpinism (9 people were killed that season on Everest slopes).
